Wealth in Practice

Community Learning for Personal Finance
We believe community can be a powerful space for collective learning, encouragement, and empowerment; that we all carry wisdom, lived experience, and practical knowledge that can help someone else; and that women have always been wealth builders, resource stewards, and creators.
Who joins Wealth in Practice?
Wealth in Practice is a financial learning community created with women's experiences at the centre. It is a Community for people who want to build greater financial agency through conversation, reflection, and practice.
The Wealth in Practice community is open to adults of all ages who are managing their own financial lives. You do not need to arrive with financial knowledge, confidence, or everything figured out. You only need curiosity and a willingness to practice.
Wealth in Practice is a space where all kinds of ideas (not just finance) can be explored, questioned, practiced, and made meaningful in people’s actual lives.
Foundations
The Five Practices1. From Isolation to Community
2. Start somewhere
3. Debt is Information
4. Goals, Values, and Trade-Offs
5. Wealth as Practice
New community members begin by joining a small cohort that moves through the five foundational practices over 6 virtual sessions. The cohort experience gives us a shared foundation: common language, practical knowledge, and space to reflect on the beliefs and experiences that shape our relationship with money.
Just as importantly, it allows people to build trust and relationships before becoming part of the wider Wealth in Practice community.
The goal is not to complete Foundations with all the answers. It is to begin developing a practice and to experience that you do not have to do it alone.
Who are we?

Jackie and andrea met in 2024 while working together on Economic ReconciliAction: A Symposium for Changemakers. A shared commitment to community, curiosity, and lifelong learning kept them connected.Together, they created Wealth in Practice as a way to bring women together, strengthen financial agency, and create space to learn, share, and practice the habits that help build wealth over time.Wealth in Practice is also part of a bigger vision. Jackie and Andrea plan to invest 50% of annual profits over the next five years, building toward the ability to fund initiatives that support a more inclusive local economy.
